Facing the future with own specialists

Since Hans Voshaar founded his one-man business, together with the active support of his wife Maria, we, the Neuenhauser corporate group, have grown to become the largest vocational training company in the County of Bentheim.

In 1959, Paul Geerdsen was the first apprentice of what back then was the metalworking shop of Hans Voshaar. His monthly income was 35 German mark. He was followed by the second apprentice, Hermann Berends, who subsequently went on to celebrate his 50th company anniversary as an employee of Neuenhauser Maschinenbau GmbH.

Occupational training has always been the foundation for the long employment of many specialists in our various companies and business divisions. The optimal support, promotion and, in many cases, subsequent permanent employment of apprentices, can look back at a long tradition.

In 2011, a training workshop was built in Neuenhaus especially for this purpose, representing the cultivation of this educational tradition. Young talents are offered a varied and dynamic environment with many interesting challenges.

There is a 3:1 ratio between industrial and commercial apprentices within the Neuenhauser corporate group. In the course of time, new training professions that are aligned to the developments on the job market have been added in a sensible manner that have, in part, replaced training fields that are no longer contemporary.
